Time(s): Wednesday, October 2 from 9.30am-10.30am; Monday, October 7 from 9.30am-10.30am
Location: This session will run in the facilitation space on Auahatanga | Creativity (level four) at Tūranga, and in the learning centre at Upper Riccarton Library
Session Length: 60 minutes
Price: $14 for a student working individually on a robot, $21 for two students sharing a robot
Try out some of Imagination Station's most accessible robotics equipment in this class aimed at introducing 5-8 year-olds to programming, robotics and mechanics in a fun and interactive way! We will use sensors, make noises and think about how to give our robot friend some personality! This is a really great opportunity for learning together, and a great opportunity for students as young as five to have a go and explore robotics.
Children under eight years of age need to be accompanied by an adult to help out and will have an iPad and robot to work on together. Adult helpers do not need a ticket (robotics experience optional!).
Imagination Station does not supervise students between classes, this is the responsibility of the parent/caregiver. Some courses may be run in multiple locations. Please check individual session listings carefully for details.
